Purpose of this page
Communicate course-related information to students in COSC 198-1001 Concepts of Web Technologies, offered in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at Marquette University.

Course description
This course reviews client and server side web technologies, their relation to each other and the underlying architecture that affects their functionality. Development experience is gained in as many technologies as feasible by completing individual assignments and/or developing a comprehensive application for the technologies discussed. Typical technologies and architectural concepts include: HTML, JavaScript, Browsers, HTTP, Web Servers, Servlets, JSPs, JDBC, and XML.
